Day 1: Nairobi – Drive to Mount Kenya Region (Nanyuki / Mount Kenya National Park)

  • Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive north towards the Mount Kenya area (approx. 3-4 hours).

  • Arrive at your lodge or camp near Mount Kenya National Park or in Nanyuki town.

  • After lunch, enjoy a guided nature walk in the forest or an optional visit to Mount Kenya Wildlife Conservancy (home to endangered animals and an animal orphanage).

  • Optional visit to the Equator Line for a fun photo opportunity.

  • Overnight at a lodge/camp with views of Mount Kenya.


Day 2: Mount Kenya – Game Viewing and Relaxation

  • After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive or nature walk in Mount Kenya National Park or Ol Pejeta Conservancy (if staying near Nanyuki).

  • Ol Pejeta offers game drives with rhinos, chimpanzees, and the only remaining northern white rhinos.

  • Afternoon at leisure at the lodge or an optional cultural visit to a local Kikuyu or Maasai community.

  • Overnight at your lodge/camp.


Day 3: Mount Kenya – Return to Nairobi

  • Wake up to fresh mountain air and enjoy a relaxed breakfast.

  • Depart late morning for Nairobi, arriving by mid to late afternoon.

  • Drop-off at your hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward flight.
